Description
Plankwall Almost Finished® V10 150mm V Groove MDF Panels are pre-primed with a hard-wearing, scratch resistant UV-cured base surface coating:
Two coats of white prime coating on the front face to give a premium smooth surface and to provide a moisture barrier.
One clear coat on the rear face, providing protection from temporary exposure to moisture e.g. during transportation, as well as a sealed surface for good application of adhesives.
The V150 gives a modern fresh wide groove giving interior walls texture and depth and their wide look helps add a sense of space. All Plankwall Grooved Building Panels have the added assurance of high impact-resistance for busy spaces and wall bracing system capacity when required (see technical sheet for details).
Plankwall uses proprietary saw-based grooving machinery for a consistent, smooth surface finish to the grooves, ensuring ease of installation, reduced finishing time and a high-quality premium finish.

The panels are suitable for GoldenEdge® MDF Panelbrace™ Wall Bracing Systems and can be used as part of the bracing structure (under Branz appraisal 779) when installed as per NPIL specifications and Installation Guidelines – which now include the option of using gunned finish nails or staples to speed up installation and reduce the amount and size of filling required to finish.
